Sunday, September 30, 2007 Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon, -The marathon itself attracts over 2500, the half gets 5500, the 5k 2000. Not huge but sufficiently strong to attract fast runners (last year’s winning male did 2:10:15, top female, 2:34:31). The race has also hosted the master of masters runners, Ed Whitlock, who, at age 73 raced under 3:00 hours in the marathon, and in 2006 set a world record for men 75-and-over of 3:08.
Why go to the Toronto Waterfront Marathon?
