Mike Hammond ran the California International Marathon on December 3rd. It was in the capital city of California, Sacramento, and Mike ran 3:22:10 for the 42.2 km. He struggled a bit in the last 10 km (as most runners do), but placed 1,397th out of over 7,000 runners.

Steve Mota was the lone Harrier to compete in the annual Egg Nog Jog, held on Sunday in Terra Cotta. In snowy conditions, he ran the hilly 10.8 km route in 49:48 and placed 3rd in the 50-54 age category and 42nd overall. 600 runners competed and the race was won by Rio Olympics triathlete (now retired) Andrew Yorke. Yorke finished in 38:13.  |
