Not everyone was sitting around recovering from the 25th this morning. A couple of our members were among the 450 runners competing in the annual Boxing Day Road Races in Hamilton today. Jacob Zerko made a late move to capture second place in the 4 mile event, finishing in 21 minutes and 30 seconds. Kingston's Miles Brackenbury won in 20:38.
In the main event 10 miler, D'Arcy McKinley ran 1:30:47 to place 165th out of 300 runners. Cambridge's Carmen Douma-Hussar placed 8th overall and was first female in 58 minutes and 49 seconds.
