We had a good showing of Harriers at the Cambridge YMCA Jingle Bell Races on Sunday past.
Olivia Grafinger led the way, finishing first in the 20-29s in 20:52. Gary Cassel junior was first in the 50-59 category in 21:01 and Kamil Kosciukiewicz was 3rd in the 20-29 male category. Victoria Webster ran 22:44 to place 2nd in the 20-29 category, Gumby Mota was 2nd in the 50-59s with a 23:27, and Henley Bullock was 2nd in the under 15 girls category in 26:30. Heather Chan ran a 29:47, Warren Barlow finished in 29:54, and Brenda Cassel won the women's 70+ category in 38:49. There were 90 runners and it was won by Josh Morrison in 16:43.
The 2.5 K race had 152 runners and just one Harrier. George Aitkin managed to get beaten by only about 15, 12-and-unders and was 3rd in the 16+ category in 12:57.
